Laron syndrome
Laron (LS), also known as growth insensitivity or growth hormone (GHRD), is an disorder characterized by a lack of -like growth factor 1 production in response to growth hormone. It is usually caused by inherited growth hormone receptor (GHR) . The syndrome is named after the scientist Zvi Laron who first discovered the syndrome in 1966.
