Neuromyelitis optica
Neuromyelitis optica disorders (NMOSD) are a spectrum of diseases characterized by acute of the optic nerve and the spinal cord (myelitis). Episodes of ON and myelitis can be simultaneous or successive. A relapsing disease course is common, especially in untreated patients.
