Glucagonoma

Glucagonoma is a very rare tumor of the alpha cells of the that results in the overproduction of the glucagon. Typically associated with a rash called necrolytic migratory , weight loss, and mild , most people with glucagonoma contract it spontaneously. However, about 10% of cases are associated with multiple neoplasia type 1 (MEN-1) .
