Liver hemangioma
A cavernous liver hemangioma or hemangioma is a tumor of the liver composed of large spaces lined by monolayer hepatic endothelial cells. It is the most common benign liver tumour, and is usually and diagnosed incidentally on radiological or during laparotomy for other intra- issues. Liver hemangiomas are thought to be in origin with an rate of 0.4 – 7.3% as reported in autopsy series.
