Osteomalacia

Osteomalacia is a disease characterized by the softening of the bones caused by impaired bone primarily due to inadequate levels of available phosphate, calcium, and vitamin D, or because of resorption of calcium. The impairment of bone metabolism causes inadequate bone mineralization.
