Interstitial cystitis
Interstitial cystitis (IC) or pain (BPS), is pain in the bladder and floor of unknown cause. Symptoms include feeling the need to urinate right away, needing to urinate often, bladder pain and pain with sex. IC/BPS is associated with depression and lower quality of life. Some of those affected also have irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia.
